Role: 3D Artist
Picture Mill received a phone call from client, Cramer-Krasselt, expressing how they had come up with a concept that couldn't be shot with a physical camera due to limitations with camera size and movement. We took on the challenge of re-creating, to exact catalog specification, their full line of Can-Am all-terrain sport vehicles.
We received 3D CAD models that we used to texture, re-model and light. I was the first person on the team to be handed the raw CAD models. Once the models were manageable, I assisted in the texturing process of the vehicles as well as the CG warehouse environment. I also created and placed all of the 'facts' throughout the scene. The team was led by VFX Supervisor Bryan Thombs.
